Perform volume maintenance tasks This policy setting allows users to manage the system's volume or disk configuration, which could allow a user to delete a volume and cause data loss as well as a denial-of-service condition. When configuring a user right in the SCM enter a comma delimited list of accounts. Accounts can be either local or located in Active Directory, they can be groups, users, or computers. Counter Measure: Ensure that only the local Administrators group is assigned the Perform volume maintenance tasks user right. Potential Impact: None. This is the default configuration.
