The host is installed with PostgreSQL 8.3 before 8.3.18, 8.4 before 8.4.11, 9.0 before 9.0.7 or 9.1 before 9.1.3 and is prone to a privilege escalation vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly check the execute permission for trigger functions marked SECURITY DEFINER. Successful exploitation allows remote authenticated users to execute otherwise restricted triggers on arbitrary data by installing the trigger on an attacker-owned table.
