The host is installed with Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, is prone to memory corruption vulnerability. A flaw is present in distributed file system (DFS) client which fails to parse specially crafted DFS responses. Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute arbitrary code and take complete control of an affected system.
