The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X 10.6 through 10.6.8 or Mac OS X Lion 10.7 through 10.7.5, Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 through 10.8.4 and is prone to arbitrary code execution vulnerability. The flaw is present in the envvars (aka envvars-std) in the Apache HTTP Server before 2.4.2, which places a zero-length directory name in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Successful exploitation allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse DSO in the current working directory during execution of apachectl.
