The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X Lion 10.7 through 10.7.5, Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 through 10.8.4 and is prone to security-bypass vulnerability. The flaw is present in the Installer in Apple Mac OS X before 10.8.5 provides an option to continue a package's installation after encountering a revoked certificate, which fails to handle a crafted package. Successful exploitation could allow user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted package.
