Run Windows PowerShell scripts first at user logon, logoff

ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:18772Date: (C)2014-05-29   (M)2023-07-14
Class: COMPLIANCEFamily: windows

The Run Windows PowerShell scripts first at user logon, logoff machine setting should be configured correctly. This policy setting determines whether Windows PowerShell scripts will run before non-PowerShell scripts during user logon and logoff. By default, PowerShell scripts run after non-PowerShell scripts. If you enable this policy setting, within each applicable Group Policy object (GPO), PowerShell scripts will run before non-PowerShell scripts during user logon and logoff. Fix: (1) GPO: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Scripts\Run Windows PowerShell scripts first at user logon, logoff (2) KEY: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\RunUserPSScriptsFirst
