The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X or Server before 10.10 and is prone to a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle crafted resource forks in an HFS filesystem. Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute arbitrary code.
