The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X or Server 10.8.5, 10.9.5 or 10.10.x through 10.10.2 and is prone to a heap memory corruption vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle a crafted JPEG image with TIFF thumbnail data. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or crash the service.
