The host is installed with Windows kernel-mode drivers and is prone to null pointer de-reference vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application which is caused by kernel-mode drivers improper validation of data supplied from user mode to kernel mode. Successful exploitation allows attacker to execute arbitrary code and take complete control of an affected system.
