Enable this policy to prevent Windows Search from automatically adding shared folders to the index. If enabled, Windows Search will not automatically add shares created on the computer to the scope of the index. If not configured or disabled, Windows Search will monitor which folders are shared or unshared on the computer and automatically add or remove them from the index.
