The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X or Server 10.6.8 before 10.11 and is prone to a cookie randomization bypass vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle crafted Apple strings employed in the user-space stack-cookie implementation. Successful exploitation could allow a local attacker to control the value of stack cookies.
