The host is installed with Google Chrome 1.0.154.64 and is prone to a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability. The flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle vectors related to a large bitmap that arrives over the IPC channel. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to leverage renderer access to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
