The host is installed with PostgreSQL before 9.1.20, 9.2.x before 9.2.15, 9.3.x before 9.3.11, 9.4.x before 9.4.6, or 9.5.x before 9.5.1 and is prone to a denial of service vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle a large Unicode character range in a regular expression. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop or buffer overflow and crash).
