ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:33751Date: (C)2016-03-31   (M)2023-12-07
Class: VULNERABILITYFamily: windows

The host is installed with PostgreSQL before 8.4.20, 9.0.x before 9.0.16, 9.1.x before 9.1.12, 9.2.x before 9.2.7 or 9.3.x before 9.3.3 and is prone to multiple stack based buffer overflow vulnerabilities. The flaws are present in the application, which fails to handle vectors related to an incorrect MAXDATELEN constant and datetime values involving (1) intervals, (2) timestamps, or (3) timezones. Successful exploitation allow remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.
