The host is installed with PostgreSQL before 8.4.20, 9.0.x before 9.0.16, 9.1.x before 9.1.12, 9.2.x before 9.2.7 or 9.3.x before 9.3.3 and is prone to NULL pointer dereference vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly check the return value of the crypt library function.
