The host is installed with Artifex Ghostscript before 9.21 and is prone to a heap based buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly decode halftone segments in a JBIG2 image. Successful exploitation could allow attackers to trigger a segmentation fault in ghostscript.
