CSRF vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox, Firefox ESR and Thunderbird - CVE-2018-12364ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:46117 | Date: (C)2018-06-28 (M)2024-03-27 |
Class: VULNERABILITY | Family: windows |
Mozilla Firefox 61, Mozilla Thunderbird 60.0, Mozilla Firefox ESR 52.9 and 60.1: NPAPI plugins, such as Adobe Flash, can send non-simple cross-origin requests, bypassing CORS by making a same-origin POST that does a 307 redirect to the target site. This allows for a malicious site to engage in cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.
