The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6 before 10.6.5 and is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle a large ZSIZE value in a black-and-white (aka B/W) RGB image. Successful exploitation could allow remote attackers to crash the service.
