The host is installed with OpenAFS before 1.6.2300 and is prone to a denial of service vulnerability. The flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle an excess resource consumption issue. Successful exploitation allow attackers to send, or claim to send, large input values and consume server resources waiting for those inputs, denying service to other valid connections.
