The host is installed with VMware Workstation 15.x before 15.5.2, VMware Player 15.x before 15.5.2, VMware Horizon Client before 5.3.0 or VMware Remote Console 10.x before 11.0.0 and is prone to a privilege escalation vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle a permission issue in the folder containing configuration files for the VMware USB arbitration service. Successful exploitation may local attackers to run commands as any user.
