The host is installed with Oracle Database Server 11.2.0.4, 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1, 18c or 19c and is prone to a denial of service vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle the Database Gateway for ODBC component issue. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Database Gateway for ODBC.
