The host is installed with racle MySQL Server through 5.7.33 or 8.0.23 or OpenSSL 1.1.1 through 1.1.1j and is prone to a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application which fails to handle a maliciously crafted renegotiation ClientHello message from a client. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to perform a NULL pointer dereference attack, leading to a crash and a denial of service attack.
