Class: VULNERABILITY | Family: macos |
The host is installed with Mozilla Firefox before 17.0, Thunderbird before 17.0 or SeaMonkey before 2.14 and is prone to cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. A flaw is present in the applications, which assign the system principal, rather than the sandbox principal, to XMLHttpRequest objects created in sandboxes. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks or obtain sensitive information by leveraging a sandboxed add-on.
