The host is installed with Mozilla Firefox before 17.0, Firefox ESR 10.x before 10.0.11, Thunderbird before 17.0, Thunderbird ESR 10.x before 10.0.11 or SeaMonkey before 2.14 and is prone to heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the applications, which fails to handle crafted GIF image. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.
