The host is installed with Apple Mac OS X or Server 10.8.5, 10.9.5 or 10.10.x through 10.10.2 and is prone to a privilege escalation vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly drop privileges permanently. Successful exploitation allows attackers to escalate privileges using a compromised service.
