The flaw is present in Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB) Protocol, which allows an attacker to successfully exploit this vulnerability to install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code or take complete control of an affected system.
