Class: VULNERABILITY | Family: windows |
The host is installed with PostgreSQL 8.3 before 8.3.18, 8.4 before 8.4.11, 9.0 before 9.0.7 or 9.1 before 9.1.3 and is prone to a CRLF injection vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle a crafted file containing object names with newlines, which are inserted into an SQL script that is used when the database is restored. Successful exploitation allows user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands.
