The host is installed with PostgreSQL 8.3 before 8.3.19, 8.4 before 8.4.12, 9.0 before 9.0.8 or 9.1 before 9.1.4 and is prone to a denial of service vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle (1) SECURITY DEFINER or (2) SET attributes to a procedural language's call handler. Successful exploitation allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (server crash).
