The host is installed with Pidgin before 2.11.0 and is prone to an arbitrary code execution vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to check the return values from the gnutls_x509_crt_init() and gnutls_x509_crt_import() functions. Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on the system.
