The host is installed with Oracle Database Server 11.2.0.3, 11.2.0.4, 12.1.0.2 or 12.2.0.1 and is prone to an XML external entity injection vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle the XML developer's kit for C component issue. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to connect to a remote resource via HTTP or FTP channels and perform SSRF attacks or cause a denial-of-service condition resulting in a high confidentiality impact.
