The host is installed with PHP 8.1.x below 8.1.8 and is prone to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle issue in issues in fileinfo functions. On successful exploitation, when fileinfo functions, such as finfo_buffer, due to incorrect patch applied to the third party code from libmagic, incorrect function may be used to free allocated memory, which may lead to heap corruption.
