The host is installed with PHP 8.0.x before 8.0.28, 8.1.x before 8.1.16, or 8.2.x before 8.2.3 and is prone to a buffer overread vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle an issue in the password_verify() function that may accept some invalid Blowfish hashes as valid. Successful exploitation could allow attackers to lead to an application allowing any password for this entry as valid.
