Subresource Integrity protection bypass vulnerability in Google Chrome by triggering two loads of the same resource (Mac OS X)ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:33283 | Date: (C)2016-03-11 (M)2023-11-13 |
Class: VULNERABILITY | Family: macos |
The host is installed with Google Chrome before 49.0.2623.75 and is prone to a subresource integrity protection bypass vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which relies on memory-cache information about integrity-check occurrences instead of integrity-check successes. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to bypass the Subresource Integrity (aka SRI) protection mechanism by triggering two loads of the same resource.
